TRACI ROOKS is an Air Force brat originally from Omaha, Nebraska who now resides in Houston, Texas. Traci graduated college with a Bachelor’s degree in Global Business Management but her interest in storytelling and film-making was too strong to deny so she made the exciting leap into screenwriting and indie film-making. Traci entered her first writing competition in December 2014 for “Tongal’s Storytellers: New Voices of The Twilight Saga Screenwriting Competition” where she placed in the top ten.
Traci's film writing credits include short films “Thirteen Minutes”, “Introducing Courtney” and “Grace”, web series “Love, Sex & All That Other Stuff“ and “3rd Coast Communications”, feature film “The Fandom” which was a finalist in the 2016 ABFF TV One Screenplay Competition, and scripted podcast "Extraction" which won first place in the 2020 Scriptwriters Houston Annual Pitch and Screenplay Competition. In addition to writing screenplays Traci has several published books written under a pen name. Traci made her directorial debut October 2015 directing the short film, "Introducing Courtney" which was an official selection at the 2016 Houston Comedy Film Festival. She has since directed all episodes of the web series "3rd Coast Communications", short film "Grace" and documentary "I Am You: Dimensions of Diversity". CHERHONDA GUNN was born and raised in Ohio, but currently calls Houston, Texas home where she is a stage, screen, and short story writer. She received her formal education at the University of Toledo, majoring in Business Administration.
Cherhonda’s writing credits include the stage plays "Take me to the King" and "Forever " ; short films “Thirteen Minutes”, “Grace and” Introducing Courtney which was and official selection in the 2016 Houston Comedy Film Festival and earned Cherhonda a best actress nomination; web series "Love, Sex & All That Other Stuff" and "3rd Coast Communications", feature film “The Fandom” which was a finalist in the 2016 ABFF TV One Screenplay Competition and scripted podcast "Extraction" which won first place in the 2020 Scriptwriters Houston Annual Pitch and Screenplay Competition. Cherhonda has also written script accompaniments for several videos used to advertise global conferences.
