16 Minutes is a short film about a young woman and the critical events in her life that led her to the decision to commit suicide.
There's a statistic that every sixteen minutes someone commits suicide. What goes on in a person’s mind in the sixteen minutes leading up to their death? Were there specific events in their life that led them to that moment? Were there any signs that they were thinking of ending their life? Did their behavior change? Did anyone notice? Could it have been prevented? These are the themes we explore in this short film.
